The next big thing in eyes, lips and facial beauty looks for 2025.

If you want to know what’s going to be your brand’s top selling SKUs for the next year, just look at the fashion runways.
Revlon made its return to New York Fashion Week after a ten-year hiatus at Christian Siriano’s Spring & Summer 2025 show – bringing back the brand’s Super Lustrous Glass Shine Lipstick for the event, which recently relaunched after months of demand from its fans.
Celebrity Makeup Artist Vincent Oquendo keyed the show and designed the “Moonlit Smokeshow” look featuring all Revlon products.
When describing the look, he said: “This look draws inspiration from the enchanting allure of the 1920s blending flirty, dark, and fairy tale elements with a modern twist. The soft, smoky eyes evoke a sense of mystery, while the luminous skin and delicate lips bring out a playful, yet sophisticated beauty. It’s a look that captures the magic of a timeless fairy tale, wrapped in the elegance and boldness of the Roaring Twenties.”
For Prabal Gurung’s Spring/Summer 2025 Collection, Prabal was inspired by Holi, the Indian festival. The color palette ranges from soft pastels to vibrant pops, mirroring the celebratory nature of the festival.
Lead Manicurist & KISS Brand Ambassador Gina Edwards noted, “The nail look created for Prabal was based on the optimism for the future. The smokey quartz nail is a symbol of spreading light and hope.”
MAC Cosmetics artists utilized Yadim Carranza’s creative vision on models during the Area show. Artists shared products from the show with Happi.
For the skin, mix MAC’s White Paintstick buffing it into the face with MAC Studio Radiance Face & Body Radiant Sheer Foundation. Use Shadowy, Taupe or Sculpt to contour the cheeks and temples from MAC’s Sculpt & Shape Contour Palette
For the eyes, use MAC’s Coffee Eye Pencil, Greige Lip Pencil, Feline Eye Kohl Pencil & the Sculpt shade on the Sculpt & Shape Contour Palette to create shadowy layering on the top to bottom lash line through the crease to sculpt out the eyes.
On the lips, use MAC Root for Me Lip Pencil and use MACximal Antique Velvet Matte Lipstick. For the eyebrows, use MAC Shape + Shade Brow Tint.
CND partnered with manicurist Julie Kandalec to create chrome and yellow manicures—as well as bright yellow pedicures— for the Libertine Spring & Summer 2025 runway.
The inspiration, according to Julie: “My inspiration for Libertine nail looks came from when I learned that the designers were inspired to save the Elizabeth Street Garden, which I thought was such a beautiful initiative. Seeing the location and the designs, I envisioned the transition from day to night.
“The yellow moon at night, or the sun, symbolizes the constant light that shines over the garden—a guiding force of hope and growth. This vision deeply inspired our design. The yellow moon became a central element, embodying warmth, protection and the natural beauty we wanted to celebrate.”
Sola Salons returned to New York Fashion Week as the official hair sponsor for Alice + Olivia’s 2025 presentation. Hair art was created with intricate braided buns with mini hair flowers and hair jewels and lace appliqués.
On the heels of the brand’s 20th anniversary, Sola Salons’ independent beauty professionals teamed with Matthew Curtis, a lead hairstylist for Alice + Olivia’s presentation, to create one-of-a-kind hairstyles that complemented this year’s spring collection.
“Following our New York Fashion Week debut last year, we were honored to return as Alice + Olivia’s preferred hair sponsor, a partnership that reflects our shared commitment to excellence and creativity,” said Ben Jones, CEO at Sola Salons. “At Sola Salons, we are dedicated to creating valuable opportunities like New York Fashion Week for our community of 20,000 independent beauty professionals through continued education, mentorship programs, and advanced training initiatives, empowering them to elevate their expertise and succeed in their careers.”
